Write about a monster.

  1. His shadow is dark but his body translucent. His mouth is bright red but his eyes are like shamrocks. His nose is long and pointy and his teeth are sharp and piercing. The graveyard is his playground and hospitals his feeding ground. His house appears medieval, filled with cauldrons and caskets. Mirrors and garlic are his biggest fear. He feels so real but when he tries to find his reflection he finds himself disappointed. Halloween is his Easter, the one day a year he can be resurrected from his hiding and walk around freely with lots of believers. He hails from Romania and waits for his time to reemerge into society as a silent killer.

  2. The monster looked almost like a bear but much larger. It's head was higher than the picture frame on my bedroom wall. I know it had claws because I heard them scraping against my bed-frame and the scratches are still there. From the light that came through my window I could see that it's fur was a mix between a bright orange and a light pink, which were surprisingly intimidating colors. The monster had two large horns on the top of it's head and two long fangs to match. It's screech was not a deep one like you would have expected but rather a high pitch one that made my skin crawl. For a moment after I screamed there was a silence and I looked straight into it's deep dark eyes. It suddenly turned away and had a long tail that spun around as it moved. It hustled into my closet but when my lights came on, it was gone.
