Hello and welcome to Vandergelder Dairy!”

    “Grrr”

    “Can I take your order?”

“Give me all the money in a paper bag or I’ll shoot!”

“So, you want all the money in a paper bag or you’ll shoot?!”

    “Yes, get moving!”

“Would you like to add an extra quart of ice cream for a dollar off?”

    “The heck?”

“Now would you like that for here or to go?”

    “Um...what? I’m taking it with me…”

“Alright, can I have a name for the order.”

    “I’m...wait a minute.”

“So, close. Do you have a Reward Card?”

    “What is wrong with you?”

“Would you be interested in signing up for a Reward Card?”

“Would I have to give my name?”

    “Um...maybe…”

“No. Just give me the money.”

“Let me get your change, sir. Here’s the bag.”

“This is one big bag of cash.”

“Let me help you empty your hands…”

    “Thanks.”

    “Give me that money back!”

    “Well shoot!”

    “Thanks for coming in today.”

  2. Colin, this is a bit Hemingway-esque with your lack of speaker tags.

This did make me chuckle. I think it a quite interesting commentary on the relentless questions we are bombarded with at the register!
